Charm & Cherish Events at Biniverse Toronto
When I first heard that BINIverse was coming to Toronto, I knew I had to be there. So, I bought tickets for myself, my husband, and my best friend. But when the opportunity arose to create two activations for attendees to take photos at the event, I was over the moon. This wasn’t just an opportunity to immerse myself in the event, but also to contribute to making it an even more memorable experience for other Blooms.
Design Concept
As a Filipino-owned event decor company in Toronto, we were thrilled to infuse our passion for design with our love for the biggest girl group in the Philippines. We wanted to design something fun and exciting that would capture the spirit of Bini and the energy of the Bloom fandom. The first activation was a mix of pastel and metallic textures inspired by Bini’s dynamic universe that was the overall concept of the production. The second was a more feminine corner decked out with flowers and in soft summer hues, capturing the girls’ youth and femininity. Seeing Blooms happily taking their pictures and striking poses in their cutest Bini-inspired outfits made all the hard work worthwhile.
The Backstage Moment of a Lifetime
And then, there was the absolute highlight: getting to see Bini up close backstage. I still can’t believe it! Witnessing their excellence and energy firsthand—it was surreal. They were every bit as radiant and talented as I imagined. It’s one thing to see your favourite group from afar, but it’s an entirely different level of awe to see them up close after bringing their fans a stellar performance. I even snagged a photo with the girls (I panicked in joy when I was positioned right behind my bias, Colet!).
